Gabriel Janer Manila (born on November 1, 1940 in Algaida, Mallorca, Spain) is a Catalan university professor, translator and prize-winning writer. A prolific author who has worked in almost every genre, he is well-known across Catalonia and Spain. His work has been translated into several languages, including German, English, Spanish, Basque and Galician.
